Data and purposes
When contacting us, you provide your name, company, email address, optional telephone number and message. We use them to handle your request, reply and, if requested, prepare a service proposal. Required fields are necessary to submit the form. Avoid unnecessary sensitive data or third-party personal information.
Legal basis
Where you request information or a proposal with a view to entering a service contract, the necessary processing is based on precontractual steps at your request (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). For other enquiries or company representatives, we rely on our legitimate interest in handling the professional communications you send us (Article 6(1)(f)). Analytics relies on consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Accepting this policy does not subscribe you to marketing.
Retention
Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are retained for a maximum of 12 months after the last communication. If a contractual relationship begins, its retention periods and legal requirements must be established separately. Google Analytics event data is retained for 2 months and user data for 14 months. New user activity resets the user-data retention period. These controls do not affect most standard reports based on aggregated data.
Providers and recipients
171Consulting’s team receives your enquiry. Vercel hosts the website and processes requests. Resend delivers our internal notice and your confirmation. Google Analytics measures website use only if you accept analytics. The email providers of the relevant mailboxes also participate in delivery and storage.
Form fields are not included in Analytics events. These enquiries are not used for automated decisions with legal effects.
International transfers
International providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Resend’s published processing agreement includes Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Vercel and Google publish their processing terms and transfer mechanisms. These safeguards are described in each provider’s processing terms, linked below.
Read Resend’s terms, Vercel’s terms and Google’s processing terms, or contact us for more information.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and, where applicable, portability or objection. You may withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Contact us using the email address above and identify your request. We will only request additional identification when necessary. You may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
